Combating Terrorism: Department of State Programs to Combat Terrorism Abroad, Report to Congressional Requesters   [open pdf - 6MB]

This report is intended to assist Congressional committees in overseeing the State Department's leadership of U.S. programs to combat terrorism abroad. Specifically, this report identifies the State Department's programs and activities intended to (1) prevent terrorist attacks, (2) disrupt and destroy terrorist organizations, (3) respond to terrorist incidents, and (4) coordinate efforts to combat terrorism. Footnotes to this report identify programs and activities managed by the U.S. Agency for International Development that complement the State Department's efforts to combat terrorism abroad.
