What is "On the HomeFront"?

"On the Homefront" is the HSDL's Blog. The Homeland Security Blog's mission is to give up-to-date information to assist the Homeland Security community in fulfilling its efforts. Information such as advancements and innovations in detecting and combating threats and keeping the nation safe will be featured. Additionally, newly released books, reports and papers addressing current regulations, proposed law and homeland security policy will be featured. It provides quick, easy access to current and important information related to homeland security issues. New information is posted daily by the HSDL staff.

Why should I look there?

If you are doing research on homeland security and want to be fully informed of:

  • recently released reports,
  • the creation of new websites or agencies,
  • new technologies,
  • significant announcements or press releases,
  • upcoming conferences & events,
  • book reviews
  • and more.

...then it is a good idea to regularly check the HSDL's "On the HomeFront."
